QSVE (Qualified Stolen Vehicle Examiners)
QSVE are highly trained specialists in the examination and identification of stolen or suspected stolen vehicles and their components.
They undergo comprehensive training and certification in areas such as vehicle identification, plant and agricultural equipment examination, and the forensic recovery of erased marks.
Many QSVE benefit from manufacturer-specific training provided by leading members of the SMMT, enhancing their skillsets and deepening their understanding of brand-specific systems and techniques.
Originally through collaboration with the SMMT Vehicle Security and Insurance Working Group (VSIWG), QSVE continue to gain access to brand-specific training and education.
This knowledge is then cascaded to newer members, ensuring continuity of expertise and maintaining high standards of service for both their employing forces and the manufacturers they support.
