Prerequisites of Membership
It is expected that those wishing to join will have attended at a recognised Vehicle Examination Course such as those run by the Metropolitan Police Service ,Hendon, AiTs South Cerney or other accepted course run by qualified trainers resulting in a quality asssed certification through the IMI (Institute of the Motor Industy). We also recognise that there are examiners out there that continue to serve and practice their skills who may have completed such courses before they formally received IMI accreditation. The retention of these skills is paramount and the reason for our formation so those in that position are equally invited to apply for membership with each taken on their own merit.

Types of Membership
The different levels of NASVE membership will be expected to run parrallel to members training, experience and time in role. The terms and requirements for the agreed levels are those set by the existing members.
